VirelaiOS

A from-scratch AArch64 operating system. Not Linux-based. No libc, no POSIX. Kernel written in Zig, booting real UEFI firmware on Apple silicon — per the repo's own description, which is admirably free of hedge words.

The virelai theme runs through the ecosystem: the OS, the Virelai Sans typeface, and the occasional fixed-form poem on the sibling site.
